Welcome to the Hey Baby Photo Contest!

Thank you for voting for your favorite baby in the 2008 Hey Baby photo contest. The field of more than 500 babies has been narrowed to 50 babies who have received the most votes. Voting for round two will begin on Tuesday, August 12 and end Sunday, August 31st at midnight. We’ll announce the top ten vote getters* and the winner* of the cover the week of September 2, 2008

Online votes for top-12 vote getters will be updated automatically throughout the day, so check back often to see if your favorite is in the running. Mail-in votes will be posted by the next business morning.

The top winner will be featured on the October cover of Brevard County Moms magazine and the next top nine babies will be featured in a special photo spread inside the magazine.

This contest is a fundraiser for FLORIDA TODAY’s Newspaper in Education (NIE) program. NIE is an educational outreach effort designed to promote literacy and knowledge of current events among the youth of Brevard County. Each 25c donation will count as one vote; 100% of proceeds from donations will go to N.I.E. There is no limit on donation amounts.

Rules

Votes may be made in person, mailed or submitted online. Each 25 cents that is donated will count as one vote. There is no limit on donation amounts. Votes must be received within the dates of the elimination rounds to qualify. Votes can be placed without a donation using an original voting ballot. Original voting ballots are available for download at brevardcountymoms.com/heybaby and at the front desk of FLORIDA TODAY, #1 Gannett Plaza, Melbourne, FL.

Mailed votes must be postmarked in time to be received within the required voting period(s). Voting is open to the general public, who meet the residency requirements stated in the Official Rules. The voting period will consist of two (2) rounds. Contestants with the lowest votes in each round will be eliminated from the contest.
